Gueugnon Remond Mâcon-Charnay is produced by a small family estate located near to Charnay-Les-Mâcon in Burgundy, France. The wine is made entirely from the Chardonnay variety grown mostly on clay loam soils that retain water during the growing season. Traditional vinification typically involves mechanical harvesting and temperature-controlled fermentation vats. The wines remain on the lees until bottling.
