WINE DESCRIPTION
Their Cabernet Sauvignon originates from the Crimson Hill Vineyard in the Red Hills district of Lake County, situated at a 2,000-foot elevation overlooking the southern end of Clear Lake. This 13-acre block, planted in 1995 with clone 7 Cabernet on 110R rootstock, thrives in crimson red, volcanic soil—ideal for cultivating exceptional red wines. The vineyard benefits from full daily sun and warm temperatures, tempered by afternoon mistrals, creating an optimal climate for late-season reds. Much of the vineyard’s fruit is contracted to Napa Valley wineries, underscoring its reputation for producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon.
