WINE DESCRIPTION
Giovanni Chiappini Lienà is made entirely from the Merlot grape and is labelled under the regional Tuscan designation. The grapes are sourced from old vines hailing from the Felciaino and Fondi vineyards. Vinification occurs in stainless steel tanks before being matured in French oak barrels for around 24 months prior to bottling. This period of ageing not only helps to improve the texture, but contributes notes of sweet spices that perfectly complement the plummy fruit profile.
