WINE DESCRIPTION

This Chambolle-Musigny is produced by Georges Lignier et Fils that was founded at the beginning of the 20th century in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The family-run estate is now led by the fifth generation. The winemaking involves hand harvesting and cold macerating the grapes for a short period before the fermentation. After completing the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to oak barriques, of which around a quarter are new, where maturation lasts about 18 months.
