WINE DESCRIPTION
Galil Mountain is a cutting-edge winery, established in 2000 through a partnership between Golan Heights Winery and Kibbutz Yiron. It is situated in the Upper Galilee mountain range, a prime wine region in northern Israel, just north of Haifa. The vineyards, located at an elevation of 800 meters and characterized by a predominantly slate top layer, yield wines that are truly distinctive and rich in mineral notes. Spanning the region, each vineyard possesses its own unique terroir and microclimate. This diversity enables winemaker Micha Vaadia to create remarkably exceptional blends. The winery harmoniously combines traditional winemaking practices with the latest technological knowledge, resulting in an inspiring selection of wines that have garnered numerous prestigious awards.
