Gaia Monograph Agiorgitiko hails from the renowned Gaia Estate, nestled in the semi-mountainous commune of Koutsi in Nemea, Greece. Situated at an altitude of 450-550 meters with a steep slope, the vineyard's unique terroir imparts distinct characteristics to the wine. The vines, aged 40 years, grow in shallow clay soil over limestone, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality. Gaia Estate, a pioneer of the Greek wine revolution, utilizes stainless steel tanks for winemaking, blending traditional methods with innovation. The strict pruning regimen ensures low yields and optimal fruit concentration. This Agiorgitiko showcases the essence of Greece's indigenous grapes, delivering a wine that embodies the spirit of its namesake, Mother Earth, with its rich complexity and vibrant character.
