Gabriëlskloof Chenin Blanc is from the overarching Cape South Coast appellation in South Africa. Chenin Blanc known locally as "steen" is harvested from a variety to sites to produce a balanced and varietally-expressive wine. On reception at winery, the grapes are pressed and fermented using native yeasts in stainless steel tanks to preserve the delicate fruit flavors. After completing fermentation, the wine is left on its lees for seven months before bottling to produce a vibrant, crisp, and well-defined aromas of citrus and tropical fruit notes.
