WINE DESCRIPTION
Domaine François Mikulski is a family-owned estate that was founded in the 1990s by Claude Boillot, François's maternal grandfather. The 8-hectare vineyard is located in Meursault in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. The estate has been managed by François and Marie-Pierre Mikulski since 1992. They produce wines from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and own parcels in six Premier Cru vineyards in Meursault and one in Volnay. The Bourgogne Chardonnay vines come from a 1.5-hectare plot planted in fine alluvial soil. These vines are cultivated using non-certified organic methods. The cuvée undergoes approximately 10 months of aging in oak barrels and then spends an additional two months on the shelves before bottling. These two vine parcels, planted by François Mikulski in 1986 and 2005, are situated on the outskirts of the Meursault appellation, contributing to the wine's mouthfeel and excellent aging potential.

There's a subtle interplay of iodine, salt, slate, and cast iron. The palate reveals a touch of sweetness with notes of caramel, orange, and apple, creating a well-rounded tasting experience.
