WINE DESCRIPTION
François et Antoine Jobard Puligny-Montrachet 'Le Trézin' is a premium Chardonnay from a small 0.17-hectare plot located in the high part of the Puligny-Montrachet vineyards at 360 meters. The site’s soils are hard, sparse, and rich in limestone, which contributes to the wine's distinctive minerality. The 55-year-old vines are hand-harvested, with fermentation taking place in oak barrels after a brief clarification of the must. Aged for 18 months in barrels, 20% of which are new, the wine undergoes no bâtonnage or fining, preserving its pure expression. This is a meticulously crafted, high-quality Chardonnay from one of Burgundy’s top producers.
