ForestVille Merlot is an easy-drinking, approachable medium-bodied red wine that hails from California on the West Coast of the United States. The grapes are sourced from all over the entire state of California, allowing the producer to maintain quality and a level of consistency from one year to the next. The grapes are drawn from a number of different sites before being crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at moderate temperatures. The wine is then matured for a short period with oak in order to impart a hint of spice that complements the plummy fruit profile.
