These vines grow on steep terraces set against a dramatic volcanic landscape, characterized by predominantly basaltic soils. This Soave eschews overt fruitiness, emphasizing instead the influence of its volcanic terroir and the traditional pergola training system. Long lees aging in stainless steel without added sulfur contributes to a captivating mouthfeel, while subtle apple and pear peel nuances and a smoky, autumnal quality reveal the wine’s deep connection to the land.
