Vrucara is the cru from which the grapes are sourced, deriving its name from the vineyard, historically known as "Vrucara." The name is inspired by the vruca, a Sicilian term for a bush naturally found in the vineyard. This bush, infused with menthol and frankincense oil, imparts unique characteristics to the ancient vine plants through a process called "Travasa." These distinctive features are subsequently reflected in the resulting wine.
