WINE DESCRIPTION
Ferrari Carano Dominique Chardonnay comes from Sonoma's Russian River Valley. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the wine is fermented to highlight the bright fruit flavors of the Chardonnay grapes. The wine is aged for roughly 16 months in oak barrels, a small proportion of which are new to add notes of sweet spices to complement the citrus flavors. As well as contributing aromatic complexity to the wine, barrel aging adds texture and helps give mid-palate breadth to the wine.
