WINE DESCRIPTION
Fattoria di Rodano Poggialupi Toscana is a blend made predominantly of Sangiovese with a touch Merlot that adds mid-palate weight and roundness to the wine. Grapes used for this wine are sourced from the estate's own vineyard located next to the winery planted with younger vines. The two varieties are hand harvested and crushed separately before being fermented and aged for around twelve months in cement vats. The wines are blended a couple of months before bottling.

This Fattoria di Rodano Poggialupi Toscana IGT has an intense ruby red color with a bouquet of ripe red and black fruits like cherry, plum, blackberry and raspberry.These notes are complemented by hints of spice, and subtle herbal notes reminiscent of tomato leaf and tomato paste. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied and well balanced, with a lean texture and lively acidity. It has a moderate finish with a hint of sweet cherry and plummy fruit.
