Fairview La Capra Cabernet Sauvignon is fruit forward, supple, gently oaked, everday drinking red wine intended for comsumption over the short term.
Fairview is a family owned business founded by a Lithuanian mirgant who came to South Africa in 1902. This wine is made from 100% Cabernety Sauvignoin grapes grown in estate owned vineyard in Stellenbosch and Paarl. The wine is matured in second and third use oak, a mix of French and American for 14 months before release. The direct nature of the black plum fruit and easy going structure make this a great wine for grilling and cook-outs.

This Fairview La Capra Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium-bodied, dark ruby-colored wine that features aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and menthol.On the palate, it is medium bodied with polished tannins and balanced acidity.
