The 13 acres of Pinot Noir vines are nestled in sandy Goldridge loam just below the fog line, imparting a cool climate influence crucial for nuanced flavors. Failla's 11-year collaboration with the Keefers results in a wine of distinction. Harvested in late September, the grapes undergo native yeast fermentation and 11 months of aging in new French oak, creating a beautifully textured and expressive Pinot Noir. The decision to bottle unfined and unfiltered preserves the wine's integrity, making each sip a pure and immersive experience.
