WINE DESCRIPTION
Estefanía Tilenus Bierzo is made entirely from old vine goblet-trained Mencía. The vineyards are located in Bierzo, in the Castilla y León region of Spain. Bodegas Estefani is overseen by consulting winemaker Raul Perez, a winemaker widely credited for starting the Mencia revolution. This grape shares characteristics of both Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc with notes of red fruit and a firm backbone of acidity. The wine is fermented and matured for a short period in inert vessels to best showcase the variety's personality.

Estefanía Tilenus Bierzo Mencia has a pale to medium ruby color.On the nose, it presents an array of red fruits, such as plums and raspberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes. There is also a hint of earthiness, adding depth and complexity to the aroma profile.
The palate of this wine is medium-bodied, with firm acidity that gives the wine a lean texture. The flavors are vibrant and well-balanced, with a dominant presence of red berries and a touch of drired herbs that is present on the finish.
