Champagne is a sparkling wine produced in the Champagne region of France, located in the northeast of the country. It is one of the most famous and iconic wine regions in the world, renowned for its unique sparkling wines.
The history of Champagne dates back to the early 17th century, when the region was first planted with vines. The region was initially known for its still wines, but it was not until the 19th century that the production of sparkling wines began. The first sparkling Champagne was produced in 1836, and the region has since become synonymous with sparkling wines.CUSTOMER RATING

At Brochet, 12.5% Meunier is a masterclass in evenness and refinement. The 2008 vintage is specifically noteworthy, with a minerality that's both intense and easy to discern. The dosage is well-balanced, and the acidity and salinity are in perfect harmony. The touch is decadent and refined, with a persistent conclusion that reveals the wine's inner perfume. Overall, a superb example of Meunier.
