WINE DESCRIPTION
Dugat-Py Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is a highly sought-after wine produced by the renowned Dugat-Py winery in the Mazoyères-Chambertin appellation of Burgundy. The vineyard features old vines that produce grapes with intense flavors and aromas. The winemaking process involves traditional techniques, including hand-harvesting, partly whole-cluster fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 16-18months (with up to 100% new, depending on the vintage), resulting in a wine with a rich and complex character. This will make a perfect wine for a special occasion. Production of this rare wine is very limited, and it is highly sought-after.
NOTES FROM VINOVOSS SOMMELIER
The Dugat-Py Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru presents a captivating bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry, and violets interwoven with delicate notes of truffle, underbrush, and a hint of smoky oak.On the palate, it unveils layers of rich, ripe fruit balanced by an elegant minerality and fine-grained tannins. The finish is long and graceful, leaving a lingering impression of spice and earthy complexity. This is a profound and beautifully structured Burgundy, reflecting the grandeur and finesse of its Grand Cru heritage.
