Du Cropio's Serra Sanguigna is a full-bodied red wine named after the superior zone in the interior of the Ciro appellation. These hilly vineyards are planted to a mix of Gaglioppo, Malvasia Nera and Greco Nero. The viticultural region stretches from the foothills of the Sila Range to the coast, providing a diversity of climates. The vinification involves a fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with skin contact before a typically undergoing a short period of maturation in inert vessels.
