WINE DESCRIPTION

Domaine Zind Humbrecht ranks amongst the finest producers in all of Alsace. Clos Windsbuhl is a unique site. Formerly owned by a widow, this site was never registered as a Grand Cru, despite its obvious quality, on the advice of the tenanted farmer who did not want to have to pay more for the grapes. Certified biodynamic, Clos Windsbuhl produces grapes with impressive ripeness and purity of flavor. This wine is emblematic of the broad and rich style of Riesling produced in Alsace and the attention to detail of the Zind Humbrecht estate.
