Domaine Weinbach, located at the foot of the majestic Schlossberg, boasts a unique hillside location ideal for producing the finest Alsatian wines. The historic Clos des Capucins vineyard, shielded by surrounding walls, has been producing wine since the early 17th century. Acquired during the French Revolution and bought by the Faller brothers in 1898, it was later led by Theo Faller, a prominent advocate for Alsace wine, who secured its AOC status in 1979. Today, Catherine Faller, alongside her sons Eddy and Théo, manages the 38-hectare estate. With a commitment to biodynamic farming, Domaine Weinbach produces exceptional wines from diverse terroirs, including prestigious Crus and Grands Crus, reflecting Alsace's rich geological variety.

Alsace is a French wine region located in the northeast of the country, bordering Germany and Switzerland. It is renowned for its unique wines, which are made from a variety of grapes and styles.
Alsace has a long and varied history of winemaking, dating back to the Romans. The region has been under the control of both France and Germany over the centuries, and this has had a significant influence on the wines produced here. Alsace was annexed by France in the late 19th century, and since then, the region has become known for its distinctive wines.
