WINE DESCRIPTION

Domaine Wardy Château les Cèdres hails from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are grown on limestone & gravel soils. The grapes are handpicked before being crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with skin maceration. Maturation takes place in french oak barrels for about a year and a half to soften the tannins and acquire added complexity of oak spice. The resulting wine has a velvety mouthfeel with black fruits and notes of black pepper, incense and cinnamon.

Domaine Wardy Château les Cèdres offers aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberries, cassis, and plums, accompanied by hints of spice and cedar.The palate has a velvety texture and well-integrated supple tannins. Flavors of ripe berries, damson, and a touch of wood spice combine harmoniously on the moderately long and gently warming finish.
