WINE DESCRIPTION

Domaine U Stiliccionu Antica is a distinguished wine from Ajaccio, Corsica. Its seven-hectare vineyards lie on east-facing granite soils in the Tavaro Valley, 8 km north of Porto Pollo in Serra-di-Ferro. Planted in 199, the vineyard is Demeter-certified for biodynamic practices, free from pesticides and chemicals. Grapes are meticulously destemmed post-harvest, followed by a thermoregulated maceration and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. Gentle punch-downs and pump-overs ensure a nuanced extraction during maceration. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks without racking, avoiding sulfur additions. Domaine U Stiliccionu Antica embodies Corsica's terroir and sustainable winemaking ethos.
