Domaine Treloar Motus is a bold red blend from the Aspres appellation, crafted by winemaker Jonathan Hesford. Made predominantly from Mourvèdre (80%) with smaller amounts of Syrah (15%) and Grenache (5%), this wine reflects the unique terroir of 21- to 55-year-old vines growing in rocky limestone soils at 150-200 meters in altitude. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and is certified HVE level 3. The hand-harvested grapes undergo traditional fermentation, followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels, 20% of which are new American oak. Minimal intervention, including low sulfur levels, enhances the wine's purity. Motus offers a rich, structured profile with deep, savory notes, making it ideal for lovers of complex, age-worthy reds.
