WINE DESCRIPTION
AOC Côtes du Roussillon Villages Rouge is crafted primarily from Mourvèdre with a touch of Grenache. The vineyards are situated at an elevation of 150-200 meters in the Aspres Cru, featuring pebbly clay-limestone soils. With a yield of 25 hl/ha, the annual production is limited to 5,000 bottles. The wine is produced using sustainable farming practices, with hand-harvested grapes undergoing a traditional three-week fermentation at 24-28°C, followed by native malolactic fermentation. Aged for 15 months in barrels, it is minimally filtered at bottling with low sulfur dosing. The wine is bottled in Ecova 75cl bottles, sealed with cork.
