WINE DESCRIPTION

Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Pommard 1er Cru 'Chanlins' is an age-worthy, highly-structured Pinot Noir hailing from the esteemed Pommard appellation, located in Burgundy. Whilst not certified, the vineyards are farmed using biodynamic practices, eschewing the use of artificial chemicals and allowing the lunar calendar to influence viticultural decisions. The grapes are hand harvested, crushed and fermented within the aim of a gentle extraction. Finally, the maturation period can vary from 10-20 months depending on the vintage in a small proportion of new oak barrels.
