WINE DESCRIPTION
Domaine Maubernard Bandol Rosé is predominantly made from Mourvedre, a thick-skinned variety that gives tannic wines with herbal notes and spice. There is a splash of Grenache and Cinsault to add red berry flavors and notes of white pepper. At Domaine Maubernard, the vines are mostly planted on a steep, south-facing amphitheatre on clay-limestone soils that helps retain water during the warm growing season. The wine is both fermented and aged in stainless steel for a period of around 9 months to retain its vibrancy.
