WINE DESCRIPTION
Domaine La Tour Vieille Puig Ambeille Collioure is typically a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir and Carignan. Domaine La Tour Vieille is located in the Roussillon, in the far Southwest of France, on the Spanish border. Vinification is carried out using destemmed grapes that are crushed before a long maceration. The wine undergoes a temperature-controlled fermentation, with heavy extraction by pumping over and racking. A proportion of the cuvée is aged in large oak barrels called “demi-muids” for around 8 months prior its release.
