WINE DESCRIPTION

Domaine Gachot-Monot Nuits-Saint-Georges is a family-owned domaine managed by fifth generation vigneron couple Damien and Lise Gachot. They are located in the village of Corgoloin, in between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune. Nuits-Saint-Georges is the southernmost appellation of the Côte de Nuits, historically known for giving wines with slightly less polish and finesse compared to its neighbouring villages, however this cliché is being disproved. Grapes are harvested by hand and completely de-stemming. The red wines are typically aged in barrel for around 18 months before bottling.
