Cosnefroy
Sophie Dugerdil's Mousseux, a 50-50 blend of chardonnay and pinot gris, is a winemaker's best friend in Geneva. The bubbles are tiny, the nose is open, with ripe stone fruits that are a bit unconventional. The impression is sweet, but the aftertaste is slightly tainted by phenolic compounds. A classic winemaker's style, this Mousseux is a crowd-pleaser.
