WINE DESCRIPTION
Domaine Bruno Clavelier Vieilles Vignes Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru 'Aux Brulées' is an old-vine Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, in France. Jean-Nicolas Méo, a former protégé of Henri Jayer, oversees this prestigious estate. The 1er Cru 'Aux Brulées' vineyard is enviously located just north of the Richebourg Grand Cru. All fruit is harvested and sorted by hand. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled concrete vats and undergo a lengthy maturation in French oak barrels prior to release.

These aromas are seamlessly complemented by hints of mushroom, forest floor, and a touch of oak spice. The palate is compelling with a harmonious balance between fruit concentration, acidity and tannins. The red fruit flavors persist, accompanied by subtle nuances of truffle, leather, and a touch of underlying earthiness.
