WINE DESCRIPTION

Domaine Bousquet Finca Lalande Cabernet Sauvignon is made from organically grown grapes from Domaine Bousquet's own vineyards in Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary. The vineyards are located by the foothills of the Andes at 4000 feet elevation which helps slow ripening and retain acidity. A manual harvest is followed by crushing and fermentation and maturation in stainless steel vats with a focus on cooler temperatures in order to produce a moderately extracted, fruit-driven style of Cabernet.

The Domaine Bousquet Finca Lalande Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep ruby color with light staining of the tears.On the nose, it offers a simple albeit pleasant range of ripe dark fruits with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum. Upon tasting, the wine reveals a medium to full-bodied with supple tannins. The ripe black fruit flavors persist on the palate, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate that are present on the moderate length finish.

Mendoza is the largest wine-producing region in Argentina, located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
