WINE DESCRIPTION

This Nuits-Saint-Georges village-level wine is produced by the iconic Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux. The Domaine is currently run by Charles Lachaux, the sixth generation who took over in 2015. Nuits-Saint-Georges is located in the south of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy, often known for giving more robust, fiercely tannic wines compared to some of their northern counterparts. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented using a proportion of whole bunches, with the exact percentage depending on the vintage. New oak is kept to a minimum with a higher proportions being used for their Grand Cru bottlings.
