Dyki Blott
Tasmanian Cabernet Sauvignon is undervalued and underrepresented. However, it excels when paired with those from Margaret River and Yarra Valley. Floral notes abound, blended by cassis on the nose. A soft mouthfeel with expansive volume is achieved, as the drink is savored and enjoyed. Rich, sweet, and spicy tones are present, highlighting cream, blackberries, and vanillin oak. Powdery tannins add richness and complexity, though remaining creamy and luxurious. The follow through is long and satisfying.
Gal
Rich and deep wine with a well-balanced cassis and eucalyptus character, balanced by a rounded mid-palate and firm tannins. The full-bodied consistency suggests a wine that will age well, with developed earthy Bordeaux-like accents and a long finish.
