Descendientes de J. Palacios Las Lamas Bierzo is a premium wine produced by the renowned winemaker Alvaro Palacios in the Bierzo appellation of Spain. The wine is made from grapes grown in the Las Lamas vineyard, which is known for its steep slopes and slate soils that impart a unique minerality to the wine. The winemaking process involves careful selection of the grapes, followed by fermentation in oak barrels and aging in French oak for 16 months. The resulting wine is a complex and elegant expression of the Mencía grape, with notes of black fruit, spices, and a subtle smokiness.
