WINE DESCRIPTION
DeLoach OFS Chardonnay is hand harvested. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed then racked to barrels for fermentation
using native yeasts and malolactic conversion, a process used to soften the acidity and contribute buttery character to the wine.
Aging takes place for roughly a year and a half in a small proportion of new French oak barrels with periodic lees stirring to enhanced mouthfeel.

This DeLoach OFS Chardonnay is a delightful and complex wine with aromas of ripe stone fruits, such as apricot and peach, and a hint of tropical pineapple.On the palate, the wine is balanced and full-bodied, with lush flavors of honeydew melon, white nectarine, and fresh citrus. The finish is crisp and refreshing ending on ripe tropical fruit.
