Day Wines had contracts for 25 tons of grapes from two vineyards farmed using organic principles. They had intended to make red wine until wildfires broke out near the vineyards. All the grapes ended up becoming smoke affected making red wine production impossible. Day Wines wanted to honor their contracts to support the growers. As a result, they decided to make a Rose wine. made from grapes grown in the Willamette Valley, known for its cool climate and diverse soils. The vineyard features sustainable farming practices, which ensure the grapes are of the highest quality. The winemaking process involves a combination of whole-cluster pressing and natural fermentation, resulting in a wine that is crisp and lively.
