WINE DESCRIPTION

Dante Rivetti Bric'Micca Barbaresco is a mono-varietal Nebbiolo wine hailing from the Cru of Bric Micca within Barbaresco in Piemonte. The vines are planted on calcareous sandy marls on south-west slopes. After hand-harvested the grapes and crushing the grapes, fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature for 10 days. Ageing lasts 24 months in 60% in French oak barrels and 40% in casks of Slavonian oak to gain added complexity and round out the grippy tannins that characterize Nebbiolo. The result is a wine that exudes elegance and finesse, with a harmonious balance of fruit, tannins, and acidity.
