Cotarella Montiano is made from 100% Merlot from the region of Lazio in Central Italy. The vineyard soils are of volcanic origin, rich in stones, which give the wine a unique character. With aromas and flavors of ripe cherries, plums, blackberries and spice, the palate is rich and smooth, with a juicy, lingering finish. The tannins are well-integrated, giving the wine an elegant structure.
