WINE DESCRIPTION
Cos d'Estournel is a Bordeaux Superieur from the commune of Saint-Estephe in the Medoc region of France. It is one of the most prestigious wines from the area and has been produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes since the 19th century. The wine is deep ruby in color and offers aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedarwood, tobacco and leather. It is medium-bodied on the palate with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, mocha and toasty oak. The finish is long, with the fruit and oak lingering on the tongue. Its well-balanced acidity and tannins make it a perfect accompaniment to a variety of dishes.
