WINE DESCRIPTION
Conte Brandolini Merlot is a plummy, structured wine from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region located in Northeast Italy. The vineyards are organically certified with a focus on soil health and sustainability of the land. Grapes are harvested and crushed before undergoing a fermentation in concrete vats. The wine is then matured in a combination of concrete tanks and old French oak barriques for a period of around 7 months prior to blending and bottling. The resulting wine shows the faintest hint of oak, allowing the quality of the fruit to shine through.
