WINE DESCRIPTION
Cono Sur Merlot is made from grapes sourced from Chile's Central Valley. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, before being fermented in stainless steel tanks at cooler temperatures with the focus on lighter tannin extraction and retention of fruit flavors. The wines are matured for a period in inert vessels to further round out the mouthfeel and harmonise the flavors prior to release.

This Cono Sur Merlot is vibrant and shows simple fruity aromas of blackberry, plum and strawberry.On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied offering ripe blackberry and plum flavors with a slight herbaceous edge. The soft tannins provide a counterpoint to the fresh dark fruit, whilst the finish is smooth and pleasant albeit a little short.
