WINE DESCRIPTION
Colossal Reserva Branco is dry white wine with a broad, light bodied palate and a mix of citrus and stonefruit flavors for drinking in the short term. Made just outside of the capital, Lisbon, this is a blend of Chardonnay and the native Portuguese grape, Arinto. Arinto is known for its ability to retain acidity in warm climates. Here it contributes citrus fruit and a lean acidity that probides freshness to the wine. The freshness allows the richer Chardonnay to add weight and stonefruit whilst retaining balance overall. The wine is matured for a short time in neutral oak creating a broader palate that make this wine a versatile food partner.

Colossal Reserva Branco is pale lemon in color and offers a mix of ripe lemon and white peach on the nose.The palate is dry, and broad in mouthfeel with a light body and a lean acidity, which prefectly balances the richness of the fruit. Modest in length, this is a easy drinking white for those who enjoy native grape varieties and would pair nicely with swordfish with a citrus buerre blanc.
