WINE DESCRIPTION

Colene Clemens Victoria Pinot Noir is produced from grapes sourced from the Chehalem Mountains, located in Oregon. The wine is named Victoria after Colene Clemens’ daughter. The wine is a blend of selected barrels from some of the most distinguished blocks. Grapes are harvested, destemmed and transferred into small stainless steel tanks for a cold soak prior to the fermentation to extract greater color and aromatics. The tanks are eventually gently warmed to begin the fermentation. Maturation occurs in a mix of old and new French oak barrels for around a year before being bottled.

Colene Clemens Victoria Pinot Noir has a delightful medium ruby color.On the nose, it bursts from the glass with glossy ripe notes of red berries, such as cherry, strawberry and raspberry, along with hints of floral notes and oak spice. In terms of taste, this Pinot Noir displays a wonderful mix of red fruit flavors, including cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate. These flavors are complemented by subtle oak influences, adding layers of vanilla and spice. The wine finishes with a lingering, smooth finish framed by silky tannins.
