Quinta da Romaneira Fine White Port is sourced only from estate grown fruit planted on schist soils located in the heart of the Douro Valley. After the grapes are hand harvested, vinification takes place in closed stainless steel vats with temperature control in order to best control the aromatic profile of the finished wine. Ageing takes place in a mix of old wooden vats and stainless steel vats for 2 to 3 years to help integrate the grape spirit that was added to halt the alcoholic fermentation and harmonise the flavors.
