WINE DESCRIPTION
Chilensis Sauvignon Blanc Reserva is a fresh, unoaked, approachable white produced in cool coastal Casablanca Valley of Chile. The grapes are harvested, pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats at cool temperatures to retain fruit purity with aim of creating a varietally expressive wine. Following the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is matured in inert vessel as not to mask the bright fruit flavors.

Chilensis Sauvignon Blanc Reserva exhibits intense aromas of tropical fruits such as passion fruit, guava, and citrus notes of grapefruit, lemon and lime.These fruity aromas are complemented by pronounced herbaceous undertones of freshly cut grass and asparagus. The palate is crisp with a zesty acidity that enhance the tropical fruit flavors that are accompanied by hints of green apple and a touch of fresh herbs.

Situated in the Central Valley of Chile, the Casablanca Valley is a relatively young wine region that has quickly become one of the country's most important wine-producing areas.
The Casablanca Valley was first planted with vines in the late 1980s, making it one of the youngest wine regions in Chile. The region was initially planted with Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, but in recent years, winemakers have begun to experiment with other varieties such as Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Carmenere.
