Château Villargeil Rivesaltes is a distinguished sweet wine from the Rivesaltes appellation in the Pyrénées-Orientales, Languedoc-Roussillon. Produced by Muse Vintage Wines, this wine is a blend of Grenache Noir, Grenache Gris, and Maccabeo, sourced from the arid, chalky clay and schist soils of the Aspres terroir. The vineyards, located at the foothills of Mont Canigou, benefit from a unique microclimate that imparts complexity and richness to the wine. The legacy of Georges Mossé, who started aging select vintages in oak barrels post-WWI, contributes to the wine’s exceptional depth and character, making it a rare and refined choice.
