Château Viella Tradition is a blend of Tannat and Cabernet Franc produced in the Madiran appellation in Southwest France. Tannat is known to make fiercely tannic, deeply colored wines, but the Tradition Madiran is crafted as an approachable, softer style that can be enjoyed in its youth. Fermentation and maceration with a focus on gentle extraction, followed by maturation in concrete vats and a small proportion of French oak barrels prior to bottling.
