WINE DESCRIPTION
Château Val d'Arenc Bandol is predominately a blend of Mourvèdre, with a proportion of Grenache Noir added to add roundness and notes of red fruit. Château Val d'Arenc is overseen by Gérald Damidot, who ensures his vineyards are farmed organically and sustainably to reduce applications and sprays whenever possible. After harvesting, the grapes are cold soaked to increase both color and flavor intensity, then the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled vats.

Château Val d'Arenc Fontbrune Bandol has a deep color with heavy staining of the tears, typical of a Mourvedre dominated wine.On the nose, this Bandol Rouge offers enticing aromas of ripe dark fruits, such as blackberries and plums, accompanied by hints of spices and herbs. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with firm tannins that frame the flavors of dark fruits and savory notes of black olives and dried herbs. The wine displays a wonderful balance between fruitiness and earthiness, creating a harmonious and well-rounded profile.
